Description
Colour coding is used to identify the hazard associated with the contents of a cylinder. It complements the cylinder label which is the primary method of indicating cylinder contents. At CMS, we paint cylinders in accordance regulatory or country specific colour code or customer requirements as below:
- EN 1089-3 Transportable Gas Cylinders – Cylinder Identification Part 3. Colour Coding
- SS 152 Specification for identification of contents of industrial gas cylinders
- BS 349 Identification of contents of industrial gas containers
