Description
De-valving of cylinders is a potentially hazardous activity if not carried out correctly. It is critical that valves shall not be removed while the cylinder is under pressure. Moreover, some valves are designed to retain a small positive pressure in the cylinder and care is needed to ensure that cylinders are completely vented when fitted with these valves. Valving is carried out to a specified torque appropriate to the type of cylinder, neck thread and valve.
We provide the service of valving cylinders with precise torque to remove and install valves. We also provide a range of high quality reasonably priced and reputable valves should our customers choose to replace their old valves.
