Description
Cylinders due for inspection and testing are identified from the date of manufacture, or from the date of the last periodic test, stamped on the cylinder. The markings on each cylinder shall be checked for compliance with statutory and other requirements like manufacturing specification. The cylinders shall be weighed to check between the actual and stamped tare of the cylinders for cylinders which have their valves contents removed.
The equipment and procedures for internal and external inspection of cylinders are carried out at CMS complying to the flowing standards:
